The Women's Premier League, a women's franchise Twenty20 cricket league run by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, will play its inaugural season in 2023 under the name TATA WPL 2023 due to sponsorship considerations (BCCI). The competition, which will include five teams, is scheduled to take place from March 4 to March 26 in 2023.
